You may have already heard about The Great Bourne Jubilee Picnic to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

This year, 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service.

Our Great Bourne Community will celebrate Her Majesty’s historic reign by hosting a picnic for the community on the Bourne Green on Friday 3rd June from 2pm - 6pm.

The Pavilion Bar will be serving the usual drinks - as well as Pimms! - and The Coffee Can will be serving coffee, tea and cake.

Bring your own picnic and set up in your chosen corner of the Bourne Green or take a seat around our giant shared jubilee picnic rug.

On the day, we’d love our Great Bourne Community to be part of making some community bunting for future celebrations.

There will be also be face and nail painting, tattoos, colour you own crown and of course the space of the Bourne Green for any games you’d like to bring.

And don't forget to wear RED, WHITE & BLUE or full fancy dress - There are prizes for the best-dressed child and grown-up!
